Being 29 at the same time was a good way to name their act. On cloud nine for Cloud 29 Duo! The duo formed in January 2007 after both members joined what was intended to be an Elvis tribute band. Unfortunately due to numerous reasons the band didn’t make it on tour, but Ben and Rachel continued to work together.
They discovered they both had a passion for singing in harmony together which was apparent in the ‘Elvis’ rehearsals and decided to form the duo. The name came from the fact that they were both 29 when they formed and is a spin on the popular phrase ‘On Cloud Nine’. This lively duo is a versatile act who like to keep the mood lively in their act performing many styles from the 50s up to modern day chart hits.
