Bono U2 Tribute, Pavel, the world’s leading Bono impersonator / look alike, has doubled and actually been requested by Bono himself.
The guys in the band are experienced world travellers based in Southern California with passports ready to go! This Bono U2 tribute has also fronted many U2 tribute bands all over the world.
He has performed solo or with his band in almost all major cities in the US and 17 other countries.
He has been a musician and front man since 1989, playing guitar and singing for 12 years at a very popular tourist spot in San Diego called O’Hungry’s. He has also rowed a 36′ original Venetian Gondola and sang opera and musical tunes for up to 8 passengers at the exclusive Loew’s Resort at the Coronado Cays. He was accepted to Julliard in 1993 for his Masters in Opera Performance.

Since 2001 Pavel has been a performer as a Bono tribute artist solo and locally with a U2 tribute band. The band is still together but he has also fronted nearly a dozen U2 tribute bands all over the world. For 9 months, while living in Rome, Italy, he fronted an extraordinary U2 tribute act that took them touring throughout Italy up to 6 shows a week, plus 2 tours in Spain and one major show in Monaco.
From the early 2000s Pavel has been on many television shows, in several films and in almost every major newspaper in the United States regarding his Bono work. He has worked with many agencies for meet and greets with some of the very exclusive clientele. In addition to the tribute performances he also plays / sings with a guitar and also composes classically styled piano compositions. In 2004 a cd was made available.
