Johnnie Kennedy, Tom Jones tribute singer, popular vocalist from Kent pays homage to the legend that is Tom Jones across London and the Sussex coast. He will travel anywhere when all expenses and fees are paid. Back on the road again, Johnnie Kennedy would love to entertain at your event. In the past this vocalist has appeared at Claridges amongst many other top hotels, for Spot On Entertainment. In the 80′s he suddenly decided to enter Ladbrokes ‘Search for a Star’ and reached the national finals.
This launched him into gigging and appearing on TV and many various events across the country. He then realised that the entertainment industry was really turning towards tribute acts but as a quality professional singer he was invited to entertain numerous popular public figures at private parties.
One of the highlights of his career is an impromptu appearance alongside Big Elvis singing the Tom Jones favourite ‘Green Green Grass Of Home’ in Vegas. Johnnie meets up with an old friend in Vegas and entertains the crowds with Big Elvis and Green Green Grass Of Home. This was totally unrehearsed and off the cuff after popping in to see the Tom Jones Show down the road.
“Tom Jones and Elvis never sang publicly together. I got a chance to enact a duet with The King in Vegas. The audience loved it – and so did we!”
STOP PRESS. Watch out for news of Johnnie’s latest venture as plans are underway for a new show paying tribute to the songs of the late, great Joe Longthorne.
