Rats In The Kitchen UB40 tribute band established in 1998 and was the first tribute to the internationally acclaimed reggae stars UB40.
They are known globally as ‘The Number One Tribute To UB40’. Like UB40, the band also originates from Birmingham. As genuine fans they have strived in their 17 years to provide a professional and polished performance and service.
Band members pride themselves on being a fully live band, including a powerful and authentic brass section. They perform a full repertoire to UB40 classics with the addition of some popular Ska and Bob Marley hits giving variety to their show. Typically two and half hours of entertainment. This UB40 tribute band is always looking to expand their clientele. With their experience of performing at many diverse venues, both in the UK and overseas, they can offer the adaptability to cater for any occasion.

This has enabled the band to expand and they are currently undertaking links with P&O Carnival cruise liners (as a 6 piece band).

They have supported Bad Manners, 911, Sonja, Bucks Fizz, Keith Harris Show, Alexander O’Neil, Jimmy James & The Vagabonds, Toyah Wilcox, Aswad, ABC, Bananarama. Nathan Moore (Brother Beyond), Go West and Musical Youth. They would love to support more headliner touring shows!

All bookings are subject to VAT at the current rate. Various secure payment options are available including payment by credit card and by BACS prior to the event – on invoice. Full payments must be received prior to the performance date. A booking form is issued for each event and must be signed and returned to us on receipt to confirm acceptance.
