Saults Music
Saults Music funk, rock, pop band formed at the early age of six when Antoine Saults (lead guitar / vocals) was given his very first guitar. Shortly after, his little brother, Greg Saults (drums / vocals) followed in his footsteps and jumped behind a drum kit, in the hope of one day play in a band “like the Beatles”
In July 2014, the two brothers came across Axel Castets (bass / choirs) as he was getting off the stage in Bordeaux. The chemistry between the three friends was obvious and greatly fuelled by the funk, rock and pop style Antoine injected in his original compositions: Saults was born.
They decided in early 2016 to record an EP and shot the video of its main title I Wanna Jam with the help of director Sam de Salvador. The record sold over 2.000 copies and, to this day, “I Wanna Jam” has been viewed over 20.000 times on YouTube. A short trip to London in the spring of 2017 allowed them to play a couple of rather cheered gigs. Their minds were made up: they would move there in September in order to live their dream and share their music with the British people.
In March 2020, due to the Covid-19, the entire world stopped. The two brothers decided to come back to their hometown in France and that’s where the magic happened. With one goal in mind – “surviving as a young band in this crisis” – one of their videos on Instagram and Tiktok literally blew up and their numbers on socials began to grow significantly. During the pandemic, the band kept on existing thanks to social media and by getting closer to their fans.
At the end of the day, ‘‘it helped us achieving their musical transition’’: Saults has become a pop band, without forgetting where their main influences were standing. Their single, Stuck in Old Fantasy, the first one after two years of silence, produced by Jack Wilson, was chosen by the band to mark the beginning of a new era for the Saults’ brothers.
Following three years of touring France, the three piece band is now based in London. The Saults are now looking for gigs all around the country to promote this function band.
Saults, the trio released their single “On Our Way”, first of 2019 ! Originating from a jam session during a gig in London last year and inspired by the funkiest, such as Prince, Bruno Mars or Daft Punk, the band refined it while touring England, France and Switzerland.
The song was promoted by Lisa Davies Promotion, who worked for artists the like of Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney and it sounds just as massive as you could wish for, since the mixing and producing was handled by Grammy winner Matt Gooderham ! It all adds up to a really funky track that we hope will make you want to shake it!
You’ll find “On Our Way” on every streaming platform, tell your friends and keep an eye (or two) on Saults Music on social medias, lots of new stuff to come!
“Let It Go” is our new banger that’s already blown up with over 20 million views on social media and now the official Saults Music video is here – featuring that guitar solo you can’t forget. We shot this in the freezing mountains of France… -10°C, no joke. But the result? Totally worth it.
