“I was on BBC Radio 3 earlier in the year with Jools Holland. I spoke about the first symphony I wrote and the classical music I like.
Also serving as president of the Women of the Year Lunches from 2005 and 2010. Joan’s new album is out now. Order Joan’s new album here. We are all really happy to announce that the first airing of the single called – I’m Not Moving – was heard on the Zoe Ball Show on BBC Radio 2. Joan’s brilliant new album,”How Did This Happen And What Does It Now Mean” released on BMG.
Joan has produced a songwriting and recording masterclass. As usual in her recent history, the new record is a triumph of self-sufficiency – entirely written, produced, programmed and engineered by Joan herself. Leading the way, with one of the album’s most ear-catching lyrics, is the single ‘I’m Not Moving,’ a set of words that Joan was immediately compelled to write after witnessing some confrontational public behaviour by a young person.
