Introducing The Robbers, a 3 piece covers band playing the best music from the 60’s to the present day. Based in Manchester, in the North West of England, the band can travel anywhere in the UK.
They are happy to accommodate any requests regarding length and number of sets and which songs to play. A song can be specifically learnt for your event if you’d like them to. Recorded background music is possible through their PA between sets, if required, saving you the expense of a DJ. The band represents great value for money.
All members have worked hard to create a big sound, with 3 part vocal harmonies and great use of the instruments. This makes you feel as though there are more musicians on stage. Band members often dress in black and white stripy T-shirts to make them really stand-out from the crowd. They can also dress ‘up’ in suits or ‘down’ more casually if that is a better look for your event.
The Robbers Manchester Band
Completely self-contained band with a PA system suitable for up to about 300 people (depending on the size of the venue) and stage lighting. If the event will host more than 300 people then they can also hire in a larger PA. Full insurance is in place including public liability insurance up to the value of £10 million (which can be inspected upon request). All of The Robbers band’s equipment is regularly PAT tested. Extensive song list available (by decades).
Matt – Lead Vocals, Guitar & Guitar Synth. Matt is a self-taught musician and can play guitar, bass and drums as well as being able to tinker on the piano / keyboard. For over 15 years he played with the 5 piece covers band, The New Originals – a name borrowed from the cult film Spinal Tap.
Nora – Bass Guitar & Vocals. Nora’s first instrument was the violin which she began learning at the age of 7. From there she made her way through many other instruments including the piano, flute, upright bass and the guitar, but it was the bass that she was most passionate about and it’s what she plays best.
Stuart – Drums & Vocals. Stuart is another multi-instrumentalist and although he sits at the back behind the drums he can also play the guitar and bass. He even has a music degree to prove it.

“Excellent entertainment at our fundraising event. They were punctual, professional, polite and very very accommodating. They are all excellent musicians and played a great mix of tunes that everybody knew on the evening. They are certainly value for money and I would have no hesitation what so ever re booking them for our next event. 10 out of 10.”
“I just wanted to say that the evening went better than we thought. The band were fantastic. Please pass our thanks onto the guys, for making our 50th bash such a success.”
