Supersonic Queen tribute band is one of the few fully live 5 piece Queen bands Midlands based travelling anywhere if the budget allows. Featuring, without a doubt, the UK’s most charismatic Freddie Mercury look and sound-a-like – Phil Copping – with a superb group of musicians behind him, no expense has been spared in recreating the most authentic sounding tribute to Queen in the UK.

Phil Copping has worked as a solo Freddie to great acclaim for 3 or 4 years years now and with his vocal talent and theatrical background he has become one of the best Freddie’s in the UK.

One of the few 5 piece Queen tributes for that full 100% live sound just like Queen, Supersonic Queen combine top musicianship with the most charismatic look and sound-alike Freddie you will ever find (Phil Copping) to reproduce the songs of Queen with a real passion.

Brian May, 75-year-old rock musician, astrophysicist and animal welfare advocate has received the title of Knight Bachelor “for services to Music and to Charity,” in King Charles III first New Years Honours list – fantastic to see yet another accolade for Queen’s lasting legacy.

Supersonic Queen were selected from over 40 Queen tributes in the UK to perform for Sotheby’s, Bond Street and as a consequence were then able to get involved heavily in the auction of Freddie Mercury’s legacy. The auction generated worldwide publicity such was the interest in this great man’s legacy and the top selling item – the grand piano on which Freddie wrote Bohemian Rhapsody – sold for a whopping £1.7m!!! Total raised was over £40.1 million and even the tiny silver moustache comb reached a crazy £153,000!

These guys are AMAZING! The sheer energy they give to their art is top tier. Every word, chord, note and bang of the drum is spot on. I lost count the amount of times Freddie ran down into the audience and gave the crowd 100% with his heart fit to burst with pride. You can tell they all absolutely love what they do and quite rightly are proud to be at the top of their game.
