Here we have a precision stunt driver playing both ‘Papa and Nicole’ in one of the famous Renault Clio commercials. She co-anchored Channel 4’s motoring programme ‘Driven’ alongside Mike Brewer and Jason Plato and Accident Black Spot. Penny also presented “Classic Car Club” for Discovery with Edd China, Tony Mason and Alex Riley. Here was an ‘out of control’ young person who eventually hit rock bottom.
“Successful people are mentally tough. And you have to be, because achieving success isn’t easy. No one can avoid the minefield of setbacks, crisis, tragedy and challenge that is part of being alive. Life throws obstacles in your path daily, but mentally tough people can manage the stress and pressure. They see challenges as opportunities and persist no matter what. They pick themselves up and go again, are confident, humble, in control and 100% committed to what they set out to achieve. That may sound as if mentally tough people are special, but they’re not.
No one is born with mental toughness – you have to develop it by deliberately working on your resilience, determination, emotional control and focus. Here you’ll find a new idea every day to help you do it. Practice them regularly and see the difference it makes. Keep applying them and you will be developing your mental toughness every single day.”
World Class Thinking – World Class Behaviour. Adopt a winning mindset to get what you want. “This powerful book is for everyone interested in upping their game in every aspect of their life. Penny Mallory dispels the myth that elite performers are ‘special’ and that you possess all the qualities you need to be at the top of your game; you just haven’t discovered them yet.”
Are you looking for Keynotes or Workshops around the subjects of ‘Winning Mindset’ or ‘Improving Performance’? Penny Mallory dispels the myth in her talks that elite performers are ‘special’; instead, she asserts that you possess all the qualities you need to be at the top of your game, you just haven’t discovered them yet. We keep a to-do list and do the easy stuff first and the tougher tasks get put off until tomorrow. Sound familiar? Well, how about doing the toughest thing on your list FIRST – the thing you keep moving to tomorrow’s to-do list? The thing we put off is usually the one thing that will have the most impact on us and be the most rewarding or useful.
