Introducing the Abbagirls known as the original and premier UK Abba duo tribute band established in 1995 and now highly bookable as a five piece or as an Abba female members duo.
Such is their success that they have performed in over 4,500 shows worldwide. Appearances range from large outdoor concerts (biggest audience 100,000) to live TV work. They have turned on Christmas lights and produced radio jingles – the list really is endless.
Abbagirls were the first Abba tribute act in the world to perform in Las Vegas – as reported in The Stage newspaper April 2004. They have been re-booked every year since 2004.
In March 2008 they became the first Abba duo tribute band to tour Korea. One of their shows went out on live KBS prime time Saturday night TV to an audience of over 6 million. In 2017 they had their 14th tour of this lovely country.
Performing in 40 countries worldwide: including the USA, all over Europe, Asia, UAE, 5 of the 7 continents this truly is an international act.
As this is their full time professional job they take pride in all the work they do and take their tribute band show very seriously. They can cover 60 of Abba’s fantastic tracks and have up to 15 different costume changes (but not on the same night!)
Here we have a completely self-contained act with full PA & LED lighting rigs. They travel with their own sound engineer. This allows the band to concentrate on the gig and not worry about the sound. (4.5k amps & speakers are carried but only what is necessary is used on gigs. ANY size PA & lights can be obtained). They can link in to any house system and also enjoy working with professional sound & lighting engineers. All electrical equipment is PAT tested and there is full Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and risk assessment as standard.
Abbagirls duo band mainly work corporate events, private parties, weddings specialities, hotels, summer seasons, theatres and golf clubs but are always open to new opportunities for appearances.
