Rave On
Rave On 60s party band UK consists of three lead vocalists in turn which is quite unique and makes for an entertaining show for theatres. Holiday camps, dinner dances, outside events, corporate events and clubs always enjoy a show. The famous Cavern Club in Liverpool is a venue that the band has played on a regular basis. They have appeared at lots of other venues country-wide, not to mention appearances on TV and at The Duke of Westminster’s stately home.
Venues include: Warner, Pontins and Haven. All the members of the party band are very talented and have great personalities. Appearing with artistes such as PJ Proby, Marty Wilde, James Burton (lead guitarist with Elvis) and Little and Large. Also Daniel O’Donnell, Jimmy Cricket, Pete Best (drummer with The Beatles), The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Searchers, The Merseybeats, Mud, Sweet, The Fortunes and many more. Rave On is a four piece band playing hits from the late 50s to the 70s which even today are still popular.
All are exceptional musicians and all very professional. The drummer has been with the band since he was 11 and one of the best you will ever see. One big P.A. system with a great sound and their own light show. They all wear matching suits.
Two x one hour shows, which seems to fill the requirements of most venues adequately. Rave On band pride themselves on arriving on time and are very smart at all times. Stage clothes for on and off stage in between spots. The band has public liability insurance and a P.A.T. certificate for all their equipment.
Pontins is a British company operating holiday parks in the UK, founded in 1946 by Fred Pontin. Since 2011, it has been owned by Britannia Hotels. Pontins specialises in offering half-board and self-catering holidays featuring entertainment at resorts, or holiday parks, as they have branded them.
