Jamie Ashton singer, musician, tribute act is a popular pianist and saxophonist. He is perfect as a wedding singer and tribute act. Jamie Ashton started his life in music at the age of four, receiving piano lessons from a local university tutor. By the age of ten he had reached grade five, taking on a role as a rehearsal pianist and assistant musical director for a local youth theatre company where he gained valuable experience. This talented pianist and saxophonist started writing music at age sixteen and was interested in sharing it with a wider public audience.

He also took some time out from studying to go into teaching. Then when he was nineteen he took a different direction. Building his experience by joining a local cabaret show band he toured the country as piano / vocalist. Then while learning the piano at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music he also began to study the alto saxophone. Jamie was one of 250 out of 10,000 people to be accepted into a Stafford County talent school for gifted musicians gaining an A* grade in GCSE music at the age of fourteen and the completion of grade 8 piano.

A levels and a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts Music followed by the age of fifteen. Jamie Ashton finally completed his studies with a Masters degree shortly after and reached the quarter finals of the BBC ‘Young Musician of The Year’. After many positive comments regarding his vocal ability he started out touring as a solo vocal / instrumentalist and after just three years won the ‘Male Vocalist of The Year’ award.

The standard of his show is of the highest quality to guarantee a fantastic evening of entertainment for your party or event. Sets are normally 2 x 45 mins or 1 x 1hr for tribute work. Please note – Jamie is available either as a top professional solo artiste in his own right or alternatively as a solo tribute act.
