Lost In Music is a 5-11 piece fully ‘live’ function band with a huge set list! The band can wear silly costumes (1970s, 1980s, Abba etc) if you like. Otherwise, they’re dead cool.
A sax player or a full 3-piece brass section and 2 extra lead singers can be added to the Lost In Music basic 6-piece line up of drums, bass, keyboards, guitar and two lead singers.
Jazz & dinner music set. Just want a band to play some classic love songs and standards through dinner? Or perhaps some jazz as guests are arriving? Yes, they can do that. Very classy.
DJ – one of the lead singers is a professional DJ in his own right. He simply plugs himself into the band PA. That means less clutter, less setting up time and only one point of contact for the client. Don’t spend an extra £400 or more on a separate DJ!

Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, United States, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and developed from roots in blues and ragtime.
Jazz is seen by many as “America’s classical music”. Since the 1920s Jazz Age, jazz has become recognised as a major form of musical expression. It then emerged in the form of independent traditional and popular musical styles, all linked by the common bonds of African-American and European-American musical parentage with a performance orientation.
Jazz is characterised by swing and blue notes, call and response vocals, polyrhythms and improvisation. Jazz has roots in West African cultural and musical expression, and in African-American music traditions including blues and ragtime, as well as European military band music. Intellectuals around the world have hailed jazz as “one of America’s original art forms” (Wikipedia).
