Sounds Retro
Sounds Retro duo singer guitarists are two guys singing in harmony performing all the classic hits songs you love to hear. They are available to play day-time and night-time gigs and happy to perform as a support act to touring headliners.
The guys are proud to announce that they had a great festival gig as a support act for Tony Christie and thank all bookers for their support. Leader, John Cross, is an ex Rave On band member, a member of Strawberry Fayre (70’s recording band) and lead singer with both. He is known as John Paul Jnr international artist.
All gear is PAT Tested and Public Liability Insurance (PLI) is in place. 2019 was the most successful year they have ever had and the present day diary is still steadily filling.

This is not a purely 60s duo. It is a very professional act with a fantastic show, PA and lighting. You will not be disappointed! Two changes of stage clothes, 12 string guitar plus a 6 string and fantastic harmonica solos. Own lighting lasers and haze if required.

You may also know this duo as The Elderly Brothers – John Cross and John Watkinson – with his years of experience playing also all over the world in bands such as Blue Rust, Shoestring The McCoys and then locally in Mates a very popular duo in the North West.
